My blog on making web and information security easily accessible has been neglected of late, sorry. You can still find one of my early articles on the Sophos Naked Security blog. If you'd like to get in touch then you can find me on Twitter and LinkedIn.

From time to time I dabble with web and app development, partly to see what I can do and partly because building something helps to understand how it can be broken. Don't worry, I'm a trained professional so breaking stuff is called ethical hacking.
This current revision has been an exercise in speed optimisation. My intention has been to explore what causes a webpage to load slowly, while not looking utterly pants and while publishing more than a trivial amount of content. The result; at the time of publishing this webpage scores 100/100 on Google PageSpeed for both Mobile and Desktop and A/A on Y-Slow, all the while maintaining HTML5 standards compliant code. The pretty pictures below are merely to weight and media to the page.
